Toruń is one of Poland’s most beautiful cities. Founded in 1233, it has preserved its medieval urban layout unchanged since the Middle Ages. Since 1997 the Old Town of Toruń, with its numerous gothic churches, city walls, ruins of Teutonic Knight’s castle and a real leaning tower has been designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
